Trusted by Athletes, Backed by Results

Shannon is a trusted advisor to professional athletes looking to build lasting legacies through their foundations. She has worked alongside athletes across the NBA and WNBA, providing strategic guidance and program development rooted in authenticity and impact.
Her long-standing work with the Jason Thompson Foundation has resulted in over $750K raised and tens of thousands served through programs like holiday giveaways, bike donations, and the Elite Basketball Camp.

Shannon also collaborates with the Gordon Family Giving Foundation, founded by Denver Nuggets NBA champion Aaron Gordon, where she played a lead role in executing immersive STEM initiatives—including corporate tech tours, internship placements, and experiential learning for high school students through the Code Denver program.

Known for securing corporate sponsors such as The Michaels Organization, Walmart, and Chick-Fil-A, Shannon brings both strategic vision and grassroots execution to every project.

Sports Roots & Leadership Milestones

Before launching SLH Impact, Shannon made history as the first female staff member and Director of Player Development for Rider University Men’s Basketball, where she also led community service initiatives and grew the team’s social media reach by 300%. Her early career included working with the Brooklyn Nets, and she continues to advise athletes in both the NBA and WNBA on philanthropic strategy.

Shannon holds dual degrees in Biology and Communications from Temple University, where she was a student manager for the men’s basketball team during their three-time Atlantic 10 Championship run.
